Manaslu is situated near the border of Nepal and Tibet. The name Manaslu means The Spirit Mountain. As per the locals, it is believed that the compassionate and robust deity mysteriously dwells within its realm. The trail leads through a magnificent woodland with rhododendron, magnolia, birch, and pine trees. In the spring, these areas resemble
paradise, with a wide range of vegetation and fauna. Manaslu region with Larke La Pass in it blesses you with the breathtaking vistas of gigantic towering peaks rising above 8,000 meters, including the world's eighth highest peak, Mt. Manaslu, at 8,163 meters. Buddha Himal, Himalchuli Peak, Ganesh Himal in the east, and Annapurna Himalaya in the west are

Your Manaslu Circuit journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu, following rivers, terraced hills, and rural villages. This long but rewarding drive introduces you to Nepal’s countryside and sets the stage for the trek.
Drive Duration: 8–9 hours
The trek officially starts today, passing suspension bridges, waterfalls, and small Gurung villages. Jagat is a charming village and the gateway to the Manaslu Conservation Area.
Trek Duration: 6 hours
Today’s trail ascends gradually through forested paths and rocky terrain. You’ll experience increasing mountain views and deeper immersion into the remote Manaslu region.
Trek Duration: ~6 hours
As altitude increases, the landscape changes to alpine forests and traditional Tibetan-style villages. Namrung offers stunning views of Mt. Manaslu and the surrounding peaks.
Trek Duration: ~6 hours
This shorter trekking day allows for better acclimatisation. Lho village is famous for
Ribung Monastery and breathtaking views of Manaslu Himal.
Trek Duration: ~4 hours
A scenic walk through yak pastures and glacial valleys leads you to Samagaun, one of the most important villages on the Manaslu Circuit Trek.
Trek Duration: ~6 hours
An essential acclimatisation day to adjust to high altitude. Optional hikes to Birendra Lake or Manaslu Base Camp offer incredible views and help prevent altitude sickness.
A gentle ascent takes you closer to the Tibetan border. Samdo is a remote high-altitude village surrounded by dramatic Himalayan scenery.
Trek Duration: ~3 hours
This is a crucial preparation day before crossing Larkya La Pass. The trail climbs steadily through alpine terrain to Dharamshala (Larkya Phedi).
Trek Duration: ~4 hours
The highlight of the trek! Crossing Larkya La Pass, the highest point of the Manaslu Circuit, rewards you with panoramic views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and Annapurna II. A long descent leads to Bimthang.
Trek Duration: 10–11 hours
Descending through forests and river valleys, you rejoin the Annapurna Circuit trail at
Dharapani marks the final trekking day.
Trek Duration: ~7 hours
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, concluding your Manaslu Circuit Trek package.
