The journey begins with a scenic flight to Bhadrapur, followed by a long but picturesque drive to Taplejung, passing tea gardens, rolling hills, and rural villages of eastern Nepal.

The trek officially starts today, descending through forested trails and crossing suspension bridges over rushing rivers before reaching Sekathum.

A challenging day with steep ascents through narrow valleys and dense forests. The
landscape becomes increasingly rugged as you move deeper into the Kanchenjunga region.

The trail gradually ascends through alpine forests and small settlements, offering a more relaxed trekking day and stunning mountain surroundings.

Entering the culturally rich village of Ghunsa, you’ll notice strong Tibetan influences in
architecture, lifestyle, and monasteries. Ghunsa is the main hub of the Kanchenjunga region.

A crucial acclimatisation day to adapt to the increasing altitude. Optional hikes around
Ghunsa help prepare for higher elevations ahead.

The trail follows glacial rivers and open alpine terrain, with dramatic views of Jannu Himal and surrounding peaks.

Another important acclimatization day, including a short hike to higher ground to support safe ascent toward Kanchenjunga North Base Camp.

A high-altitude trek across rocky terrain and vast glacial valleys brings you to Lhonak, a remote settlement with striking Himalayan views.

One of the highlights of the trek—a full-day excursion to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp (Pang Pema), offering awe-inspiring views of the massive north face of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

Retrace your steps back to Ghunsa, descending gradually and enjoying different
perspectives of the rugged landscape.

A challenging ascent leads you toward the Sele Le Pass, one of the high points connecting the north and south sections of the Kanchenjunga Circuit.

Crossing the high mountain pass rewards you with spectacular panoramic views before descending to Cheram in the southern valley.

Today’s highlight is a hike to Kanchenjunga South Base Camp, also known as Yalung Base Camp, with close-up views of glaciers and towering peaks. Overnight at Ramche.

A long descent through forests and river valleys brings you to Torongding, marking a return to greener landscapes.

The trail continues downhill through traditional villages and terraced farmland, offering cultural encounters with local communities.
